ExchangeRate24 brings international exchange rates, practical conversions and six months of ExchangeRate-API history into one focused experience. Each value includes its date, currency and source so comparisons remain consistent.
Public pages read locally stored observations. A visit does not trigger a new provider request, and cross-currency pairs are calculated using rates from the same date.
The platform stores daily exchange rates with the US dollar as its base. It then compares the dollar, euro, pound and other currencies without mixing dates. Each market card shows a current reference and its change from the preceding record. Historical charts show the observed range and help distinguish a recent move from a broader trend.
In USD/EUR, the dollar is the base currency and the euro is the quote currency. The number tells you how many euros correspond to one dollar. Reverse the order and the figure is inverted. If neither side of a pair is USD, both currencies are first valued against the dollar and divided using observations from the same day.
The published rate is informational and may differ from a bank, exchange bureau or payment platformās offer. Providers can apply buyāsell spreads, fees and taxes. Before a transaction, compare the net amount you will receive and review the providerās terms.
Charts are built only from ExchangeRate-API historical observations. The initial backfill covers six months, and future synchronizations extend the series. We do not interpolate missing dates or insert quotes from an earlier provider. Every pointās date matters, particularly around weekends and holidays.
